If only I had a girl.

Maybe a yellow feltball rug in on the cards?

There is no secret that I wish I had a girl to spoil. Living in a family of boys I try not to loose my girliness too much. (Not that I have ever been a real girly girl anyway!)

So to get inspired when I am designing rugs for little girls rooms I go to pinterest, Here are some of my favourite rooms.

Society Handmade in the heart of Perth

I was very privileged to run a couple of workshops at Society Handmade this week. I loved going back to my teaching roots again and spreading a little crafty cheer around. (Sure beats being in the office all day.)  My eager students were keen to learn how to make a felt rose. They also made their own felt ball garland to take home. The designers are running a variety of workshops throughout January and February and you can check out workshops coming up here.

Society in the heart of Perth are committed to supporting WA designers. They are a pop up shop and only around till the end of February, so be sure to not miss out on this exclusive shopping experience. 140 William St Perth, Western Australia.  Here you can view all the products from Happy as Larry too.

Happy as Larry:Imagination Comes Home

At Happy as Larry we’re dream weavers, child delighters and imagination merchants.
Our goal is simple - to make products that are beautiful, magical and made to last.

Some children think that our rugs are made by Elves, who stitch together rainbows, but the truth is just as magical. They are handmade by women in Nepal, whose ancestors have been making felt since prehistoric times.

All of our goods are safe and have been playfully tested on children. Happy as Larry sources only the best quality wool from New Zealand, for superior look and feel.

We make our products this way so that your kids’ kids will love them!
